The Event Hall at Coburg Commons is 1,200 spacious square feet of possibility for your next musical performance, presentation, class, meetup, training, or special day. Situated in historic downtown Coburg, Coburg Commons is within a five minute walk of several restaurants and a wine bar to follow up your event.

You may rent the Event Hall by the hour or by the day. Discounts are available for recurring users.

  • We offer 100 stacking upholstered chairs and room for 24 on the pews along the walls. Wanting to feast or scheme? We’ve got six circular 72” tables to gather around, too.

  • Our uniquely small-town and residential setting lends itself to acoustic performances. Limited amplification is available for consideration.

  • Our Event Hall offers a discounted rate when scheduling multiple or recurring events.

Good Neighbor Scholarship

Event organizers that are seeking Coburg’s common good are encouraged to apply for scholarships for a reduced hourly rate. Find out more here.

Events FAQ

  • We have fit 90 to 100 people seated in rows, somewhat compactly. Please keep in mind we have enough parking for about 25 cars and four bicycles.

  • We offer:

    • 100 stacking upholstered chairs,

    • six circular 72” tables,

    • two six-foot rectangular tables, and

    • four eight-foot rectangular table.

  • Beer, cider, and wine are permitted with proof of one-time event insurance. You can purchase this online from many vendors such as The Event Helper.

    Hard alcohol is not permitted.

  • Absolutely! In addition to browsing the bookstore during open hours, with a spirit of neighborly trust they are welcome to peruse the shelves after hours. They can even set aside books to purchase next time they’re here.

  • Your event’s food and beverages may be held up to 36 hours before the event in our standard residential-size fridge.
